A Pain in the Neck?
Actually, writing the content for Chilbridge was anything but a pain in the neck! They say that you learn something new every day and I certainly did writing this copy.
The team at Chilbridge Osteopathic Clinic in Oxfordshire were looking for new content to feature on their site and I was approached to write this. The brief was to create informative copy for a series of new pages. These would outline the conditions that could be treated with osteopathy and explain what that treatment would involve.
I greatly enjoyed writing the pages for Chilbridge and learnt a thing or two along the way. The subject matter demanded a serious approach, not to mention finished copy that was factually correct. I researched each condition carefully and I think that I managed to present the required information so that it could be easily understood. Osteopathic treatments remain a mystery to many people. It was important to convey exactly how a qualified osteopath can address lifestyle issues and relieve pain through careful manipulations. Naturally the content also had to feature important keywords and key phrases.
The pages I contributed to the Chilbridge site covered the following conditions:
Back Pain
Neck Pain
Shoulder Pain
Tennis Elbow
Muscle Strain
Repetitive Strain Injuries
Frozen Shoulder
Migraine and Headache
I have never visited an osteopath but the more I learnt about the treatments offered the more I realised that I might have missed a trick myself. I have suffered several sports injuries in my time and have endured neck pain for years having been involved in a car crash. I hope that those who read the copy I have written will be equally interested in the possibilities of osteopathy.
I was particularly keen to learn about repetitive strain injuries but disappointed that I couldn’t write a piece specifically focussing on writer’s cramp!
